SUMMER CLASSES

 

 

The International School of Ballet is very pleased to announce another year of special summer classes.  These classes are designed to further the students' stamina and conditioning over the summer months, as well as enhancing training and artistry.

All students, Grade 5 and up, are strongly encouraged to attend.

Dates:

Classes will run from June 27 - August 31, inclusive.
There will be no classes July 3 or August 7

Classes Offered:

  • RAD Intermediate Syllabus (July 10 - August 17)
    • Must have completed RAD Intermediate Foundation Exam
  • RAD Advanced Foundation Syllabus (July 10 - August 17)
    • Must have completed RAD Intermediate Exam
  • RAD Advanced Two Syllabus (July 10 - August 17)
    • Must have completed RAD Advanced 1 Exam
  • Master Class (June 27 - August 31)
    • Suitable for students who have completed RAD Intermediate Exam (or equivalent) and higher
  • Adult Ballet Classes (July 16 - August 20)
    • No previous ballet experience necessary

Cost:

  • Drop-in $25.00

  • Friday Morning Drop-in $22.00

  • 5 Class Pass $110.00

  • 10 Class Pass $200.00

  • Certified RAD teacher at the International School of Ballet

Yairelys Sosa

  • Formner Soloist Dancer with National Ballet of Cuba
  • Former Company Dancer with Alberta Ballet

Hayna Gutierrez

  • Principal Dancer with Alberta Ballet
  • Former Principal Dancer with national Ballet of Cuba

Jaciel Gomez

  • Former Principal Dancer with National Ballet of Cuba
  • Former Principal Dancer with Alberta Ballet

Kate Kaupas

  • Former Dancer with Ballet Tucson
  • Currently completing RAD Teacher Certification

Keiichi Hirano

  • Finalist at Prix de Lausanne International Ballet Competition
  • Former First Soloist Dancer with the National Ballet of Canada

Acceptable forms of payment include: Debit, Credit, and Cheque

Drop-in's will only be accepted for Master Classes, Open Classes, & Adult Classes

Students must pre-register for the Syllabus classes & Adult classes, please send an email to isb@iballet.com to register

August Open classes are tentative and will be confirmed based on July attendance

Only cash will be accepted for Drop-in classes

Drop-in Classes must be paid prior to the start of class

Passes are non-refundable and non-transferable to the regular season

If there is a strong demand for passes we will consider adding additional classes


Classical ballet encompasses a wealth of opportunity and guidance for the young generation.  It offers a strong foundation of sound physical development.  The specialized training also instills concentration, discipline and dedication.  These building blocks produce self-awareness, confidence and harmonious teamwork.
